Cowboys & Cowgirls & Horses OH MY!

Is it just me or does it seem like September flew by? I mean, it seems like just yesterday I was sitting by Aunt Sandy's pool workin' on my tan, or out in the garden, or baking a tasty treat with my freshly picked raspberries. Now, I'm bundled up- head to toe- Ugg boots and all. I think I like it though- not just a little- I think I like it a real lot.  I always say I'm so excited when the fall comes but truth be told- I get really excited every time the seasons change. Maybe it's because I get bored easily, or maybe it's because I'm a New Englander and have no choice. Either way I like it and I'm so thankful that this is my home. Speaking of my home, I (or should I say we) have a big week ahead. We are and have been for the past month preparing for our 2nd Annual Skinner Ranch Rodeo. Yes Ladies and Gents, I said Rodeo, as in horses and cowboys and cowgirls and stuff (I can't give away all my secrets). It's next Saturday October 6th and should be a grand time for all attending.

Happy Birthday Sissy

Oh my gracious the day is here- finally. I feel like it's been her birthday all week long. Monday started out with an early morning happy birthday text, which to my embarrassment I quickly found out wasn't until Thursday. For the record I totally knew that (I'm serious) but my brain was focused on a Nursing Exam I had that day. My apologies. So at the least, Alison, sister and soon to be momma happy birthday. I hope you have the very best day and all your wishes come true. I can hardly wait to see what this next year has in store- I have a feeling it is going to be one to remember!

Fall

It's that time of year again- you know when the leave start to change and school is back in session. That time when the nights become chilly- but it's perfect for sleeping. It's that time of year for bonfires and sweatshirts. It's fair season- I love fair season. It's time for hayrides and everything apple- and I love that too. It's September, fall is here, and this girl- she's not complaining.
